Kuule minua [Ouve-me / Hear me] is a long durational multi-performance about the body as a space that we inhabit. In this work, the performer’s body is presented as the space of the action, freed of the space itself, but limited by its one condition, organicity, and sound.
“I invite the audience one by one to enter a dark room. Deprived of their eyesight, they enter. I hold their hand and lead them in the darkness of the room, giving them a set of headphones connected to my body playing a heartbeat mantra. In the dark, they enter, in the sound, they stay. My heart is present, and we are connected by the primal sound. Together we share this moment of presence.”
