Claude Boudeau is a young artist living and working in Besançon, France. He graduated in June 2017 from the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts de Besançon. He has since participated in several residency programmes in France and abroad (e.g. in Taiwan and Bangladesh), and showed his works in many performance festivals.

In his performances, Claude Boudeau tries to explore the tragic dimension of the human being, reversed, pushed, or thrown on the floor by the loss of its human balance. Between rituals and rites of passage, Claude engages his body in a confrontation sometimes sensual, sometimes revolted, with its environment.
