At the time of writing this text, Daniela is travelling from Babahoyo, her family’s hometown, to Quito, where she was born. There is a lot of fog, and the vehicle advances very, very, slowly: she doesn’t understand how the vegetation, the weather, even the houses, can change so suddenly. She would like to get off the car and walk. Daniela is currently researching about landscapes, modes of inhabiting, and how to relate to (with) them. She finds it difficult to verbalise and articulate her experiences. Daniela feels particularly close to Latin America and the Mediterranean region.
